Description

UV DTF Stickers / Gang Sheets

UV-DTF (Ultraviolet Direct Transfer Film) lets you apply full-color, durable designs to a wide range of hard surfaces. Printed with UV ink, these transfers deliver sharp detail, vibrant color, and excellent resistance to scratches and everyday wear.

Artwork Requirements

  • Ensure your design software is set to CMYK mode. Colors created in RGB will print differently because all prints are produced in CMYK. PNG art is always preferred.

  • Your artwork should be 300 DPI (or as close as possible). Simply saving a low-resolution image as 300 DPI does not improve its quality.

  • Double-check your gang sheet before submitting. This includes:

    • Size

    • Resolution

    • Colors

    • Backgrounds

    • Spacing

    • Any imperfections

  • The customer is fully responsible for the accuracy of the final file. If you submit an incorrect file and it has already been printed, reprints are full price.

  • For new customers, we strongly recommend ordering a small test sheet before sending your final design.

Recommended Surfaces

Great for adding permanent, professional branding or decoration to:

  • Personal items: phone cases, notebooks, keychains

  • Home goods: mugs, tumblers, plates, frames

  • Other surfaces: wood, metal, plastic, and glass

(Not intended for fabrics or flexible surfaces.)

How to Apply UV DTF Stickers

  1. Prep the sticker
    Turn the sticker over and firmly scrape the back with a squeegee or card to activate the adhesive.

  2. Peel the backing
    Carefully and slowly peel away the paper backing, leaving the design on the clear transfer film.

  3. Place on surface
    Position the sticker on your clean, dry surface and press it down.

  4. Burnish the design
    Scrape over the design with a card or squeegee to remove bubbles and ensure full adhesion.

  5. Remove the top film
    Slowly peel off the clear top film, leaving the printed design on the surface.

Care & Storage

  • Storage: Keep sheets in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture.

  • Cleaning: After application, clean the decorated surface with a soft, damp cloth only. Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive cleaners.

  • Long-term use: For maximum durability, avoid exposing decorated items to extreme temperatures and always follow the application steps carefully.

Care

Before Pressing

  • Store sheets flat or loosely rolled, print-side out, in a cool, dry place away from heat or sunlight.
  • Handle by the edges to avoid oils, lint, or moisture.
  • Pre-press your garment for 2-5 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles.

Pressing Instructions (General Guidance)

Your results depend on your press, garment, and technique. Please test first.

  • Heavy pressure @ 320°F
  • First press: 8–10 seconds
  • Peel fast and in one motion, immediately after pressing (hot peel).
  • Second press: 2–5 seconds using Teflon or butcher paper for durability.

Tip: When cutting out designs, leave extra film on the side you’re peeling from — this makes lifting much easier.

After Application (Garment Care)

  • Wait 24 hours before washing.
  • Wash inside out, cold water, no bleach or softeners.
  • Hang dry for best longevity; tumble dry low if needed.
  • Do not dry clean.
  • Do not iron directly on the print — use parchment if ironing the garment.

High heat (especially in dryers) can cause premature cracking or peeling, so follow washing and drying instructions carefully.
